This Weekend's Schedule: The Ohio Northern men's golf team will continue its 2021 season by competing in the two-day Otterbein Invitational at Northstar Golf Course ... The tournament is slated to begin with a 2 pm shotgun start on Saturday and flighted tee times on Sunday beginning at 11:50 am ... Marietta, Muskingum, Capital and Otterbein are expected to join ONU in the two-day, 36-hole tournament ... A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend the games based on the OAC's COVID-19 policy ... Each player will receive two admissions each tournament ... No tickets will be available to the general public ... The Polar Bears successful last weekend featured Saturday's team title at the Heidelberg Spring Invitational and Sunday's team tie for first at the Cardinal Classic ... Freshman Grace Honigford led the field carding an 82 while senior Annika Neumann and sophomore Bella Orofino tied for second overall shooting an 85 ... ONU finished with 344 total strokes, and had 11 of the top 12 golfers overall ... Sunday's Cardinal Classic featured a 27-hole contest and Northern tied for the title with Otterbein both registering 507 strokes ... Honigford won medalist honors with a first-place 119 strokes ... Sophomore Meghan Utterdyke carded a second best on the team 124 ... After a pair of first place finishes for Hongiford, she was named the OAC Women's Golfer of the Week ... She leads the team through 9.5 rounds with an 80.0 scoring average this season ... Neumann is second at 82.3 and senior Lydia Cranmer is third at 86.3.
