ADA — The Ohio Northern softball team received votes in the final NCAA Division III National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll.

The Polar Bears (24-11 overall) received eight points, which was the 26th-most in the poll.

Ohio Northern finished its season with a 24-11 overall record, won the OAC Regular Season title with a 16-2 mark, won the OAC Tournament and participated in the NCAA III Tournament in 2022 under sixth-year head coach Jackie Price.

National Champion Christopher Newport (Va.) is the top-ranked team in the poll with 250 points and all 10 first-place votes.

National Runner-UP Trine (Ind.) is second with 240 points and Texas Lutheran is third with 230 points.

Ohio Northern was ranked No. 24 in the final regular season poll on May 10.
