Softball withdraws from NCAA III Tournament due to COVID-19 protocol concerns

ADA — The Ohio Northern softball team has withdrawn from the NCAA Division III Tournament due to COVID-19 protocol issues.
ONU was scheduled to travel to the Marshall, Tex., Regional and play No. 12-ranked Salisbury (Md.) in the First Round on Friday.
The Polar Bears will finish their 2021 season with a 24-18-1 overall record.
Northern was fourth in the OAC Regular Season standings with a 19-16 mark and won the OAC Tournament this year under fourth-year head coach Jackie Price.
