Tournament Previews: The Ohio Northern men's golf team will continue its 2022 fall season this weekend with two tournaments ... The Polar Bears will play 36 holes over two days Saturday and Sunday at the Bluffton Beaver Fall Classic at the Bluffton Golf Course in Bluffton ... Seven schools are expected in the tournament, which will begin at 9:30 am each day with flighted tee times ... On Monday, ONU will head east to play in the John Carroll DiCillo Memorial Tournament at the Shaker Heights Country Club ... Wooster, Otterbein, Capital and John Carroll are also expected to play in the 18-hole tournament ... Senior Josh Steyer had a 6-over par 78 to lead Ohio Northern to a third place finish at the 6-team Lourdes Gray Wolf Invitational on Monday at Sylvania Country Club ... The Polar Bears posted a 316 in the 18-hole tournament ... Steyer finished tied for ninth of 59 golfers ... Freshman Anthony Naso and sophomore Adam Trigg-Holdman tied for 13th with 79s. and freshman Bennet Christy tied for 22nd with an 80 ... Through four rounds this fall, Christy leads the team in scoring with a 76.8 average ... Steyer is second with a 77.0, Trigg-Holdman is third at 78.3 and freshman Anthony Naso is fourth with a 78.8 ... In all, eight different Polar Bears have averages under 80.
