Men's Golf finishes third of seven at Bluffton Beaver Fall Classic

SYLVANIA — The Ohio Northern men's golf team finished third of seven teams at the Bluffton Beaver Fall Classic on a blustry Saturday and Sunday at the Bluffton Golf Course.
The Polar Bears (11-13 overall) posted a 310-324—634 in the 36-hole tournament.
Wooster won the tournament with a 615, Lourdes was second with a 631 and No. 40-ranked (Division II) Tiffin's B Team was fourth with a 647.
Freshman Bennet Christy (Plymouth, Ind.) led Ohio Northern with a sixth place finish out of 55 golfers with a 77-79—156.
Sophomore David Walsh (Cincinnati/Moeller)tied for ninth with a 75-83—158, freshman Anthony Naso (Grosse Ile, Mich.) and sophomore Andrew Briars (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) tied for 14th with 161s and senior Austin White (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township) was 31st with an 8-84—166.
Krishang Nayak of Wooster and Evan Kujawa of Bluffton tied for Medalist honors with 147s.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Monday at the John Carroll DiCillo Memorial Tournament in Shaker Heights.
