Four earn All-Conference honors as Women's Cross Country finishes second out of 10 teams at the OAC Championship

FINDLAY — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team finished second out of 10 teams at the OAC Championships on Saturday morning.
The Basics
- Record: Ohio Northern (100-26 Overall)
- Race Info: The event was a 6,000-meter race held at the Hillcrest Golf Club.
- ONU placed 2nd out of 10 collegiate varsity teams with 65 points.
Race Results
- No. 27-ranked John Carroll won the team title with 42 points, Ohio Northern placed 2nd with 65 points, Otterbein finished 3rd with 79 points and Mount Union finished fourth with 81 points.
Top ONU Performers
- Sophomore AnnaSophia Gower (Perrysburg) led ONU across the finish line, placing 4th overall in the 125-woman field in 21:01 earning her First Team All-Conference honors.
- Junior Kennedy Rader (Mason) was 8th overall, finishing in a career best 22:20 earning her First Team All-Conference.
- Senior Ashley Hockstok (Westerville/Central) was 11th in 22:32 to earn her 2nd Team All-OAC kudos.
- Junior Samantha Roth (Brunswick) finished 15th in 22:40 earning her 2nd Team All-OAC honors.
- Junior Natalie Armbruster (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) was 30th in 23:55.
Notables
- Ohio Northern had 4 runners earn All-Conference Honors.
- All four of ONU's All-OAC performers also earned the honor in 2023.
- Hockstok and Rader are now 3-time All-OAC performers.
- In all, 11 of Ohio Northern's 20 runners had season-best times.
- First Team honors go to the top 10 finishers and Second Team honors go to finishers 11-20.
- 16th-year head coach Jason Maus is now 1372-521 as head coach of the ONU women's cross country program and is the winningest coach in program history.
