Women's Cross Country to open season ranked No. 33 in USTFCCCA preseason poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team will open its 2022 season ranked No. 33 nationally in the USTFCCCA preseason poll, which was released on Wednesday.

The Polar Bears received 28 points in the poll.

ONU went 95-31 overall and was third in the Ohio Athletic Conference in 2021 under head coach Jason Maus.

SUNY-Geneseo is ranked No. 1 with 347 points and seven first-place votes. Wartburg (Iowa) is second with 336 points and two-time defending national champion Johns Hopkins (Md.) is third with 331 points and three first-place votes.

The Polar Bears will open their 2022 season Sept. 3 when they host their annual Polar Bear Invitational.
