Women’s Cross Country picked to finish third in 2022 OAC Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team was picked to finish third in the Ohio Athletic Conference in a poll conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
The Polar Bears received 65 points in the poll.
Defending conference champion John Carroll was selected as the favorite with 81 points and nine first-place votes.
Mount Union was picked to finish second with 71 points and one first-place vote, Baldwin Wallace was picked fourth with 55 points and Otterbein was picked fifth with 52 points.
The Polar Bears ended the 2021 season with a 95-31 record, including a third-place showing at the OAC Championships and seventh-place finish at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regionals. It marked the team's 19th straight top-five finish at the OACs and its fourth straight top-10 finish at regionals.
Northern will open its 2022 schedule on Sept. 3 when it hosts the Polar Bear Invitational under 14th-year head coach Jason Maus.
