Men's, Women's Cross Country teams to open 2022 season Sept. 3 at home with Polar Bear Invitational

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's and women's cross country teams will open their 2022 seasons on Sept. 3 by hosting the Polar Bear Invitational on the ONU campus under 13th-year head coach Jason Maus.
This marks the second consecutive season that the Polar Bears have opened their season with a home meet.
Northern will then compete at the Wittenberg Invitational and the Rochester (N.Y.) Invitational Sept. 10 and 17, respectively.
The Pre NCAA meet follows on Oct. 1 at East Lansing, Mich., and the Oberlin Rumble on Oct. 15 ends the regular season.
Muskingum will host the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships Oct. 29.
The NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional will take place in Holland, Mich., Nov. 12, and the National Championships will be run Nov. 19 in East Lansing.
In 2021, Northern's men finished 94-39 overall and were fifth in the OAC, while ONU's women were third in the OAC and finished with a 95-31 overall record.
