ADA — Sophomore Ashlie Baumann (Sterling Heights, Mich./Stevenson) led the Ohio Northern women's cross country team to an eighth place finish as it competed at the All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville.
Northern (15-9 overall) finished eighth of 17 teams in the Div. III standings with 241 points.
It was originally reported that ONU was ninth, but Mount Vernon Zazarene was inadvertently scored with the Division III schools and Defiance was not. When corrected, the Polar Bears moved into eighth place.

Baumann finished 16th of 118 Division III runners in 23:24.
Junior Nikki Huber (Findlay/Findlay) and freshman Madeleine Routhier (West Unity/Hilltop) finished 50th and 51st in 24:33.1 and 24:34.0, respectively.
The Polar Bears will return to action Saturday, Oct. 15 as they travel to Oshkosh (Wis.) to compete in the Oshkosh Invitational at 12:15 pm.
