Women's Cross Country to open 2016 season Sept. 2 at Bluffton 5K

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team will open its 2016 schedule on Sept. 2 at the Bluffton Invitational 5K.

The Polar Bears will compete at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational, the All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville and the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational prior to the OAC Championships on Oct. 29 at Capital.

The NCAA III Great Lakes Regional is slated for Nov. 12 at Hope (Mich.) and the NCAA III Championships will be Nov. 19 in Louisville, Ky.

Ohio Northern posted a 95-38 record and finished fourth at the 2015 OAC Championships last season under seventh-year head coach Jason Maus.
