Women's Cross Country has five named Academic All-Conference

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's cross country team had five named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in voting done by the leagues academic advisors.
Senior Catie Huber, senior Julie Puvogel, senior Raechel Moore, and juniors Margaret Sorg and Kara Sosinski.
The award winners must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have a cumulative grade-point-average of at least 3.50.
Huber earns her second Academic All-OAC honor.
The Biology major ran a career-low 23:34 for 6,000 meters at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional.
Puvogel, a pharmacy major, earns her second Academic All-OAC accolade.
She has competed in six races this season and ran a season-low 26:12 at the Oberlin Rumble.
Moore also earns her second Academic All-OAC accolade.
The pharmacy major ran a new career-low 19:53 for 5,000 meters at the Calvin Invitational, and a new career-low 23:25 for 6,000 meters at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional.
Sosinski, a pharmacy major, earns her second consecutive Academic All-OAC honor.
Her best time this season came at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regional meet with a time of 23:50, and she has competed in seven races this season.
Sorg earns her second Academic All-OAC selection.
The accounting major ran a season-low 25:14 for 6,000 meters at the All-Ohio Championships.
The Polar Bears finished fifth at the OAC Championships and were 14th at the NCAA III Great Lakes Regionals under sixth-year head coach Jason Maus.
