Women's Cross Country chosen to finish first in Ohio Athletic Conference

ADA-- The Ohio Northern women's cross country team was picked to finish first this fall in voting done by the league's 10 head coaches.
Northern and John Carroll finished tied for first with 76 points each, but ONU won the tiebreaker with five first place votes compared to four for John Carroll.
Mount Union was tabbed to finish third receiving one first place vote and 60 points overall.
Wilmington notched 58 points and was chosen to finish fourth while Baldwin-Wallace received 47 points to round out the top five.
The Polar Bears finished last season with an 83-9 overall record. Northern placed 19th at the Division III Championships and is the two time defending OAC champions.
ONU season will begin on September 1 when they host the ONU Invitational at 10:45 a.m.
