Steinbrunner named OAC Female Runner of the Week

ADA — With her school record-breaking performance Saturday, junior Alison Steinbrunner has been named OAC Female Runner of the Week for Cross Country.
The team competed at Calvin's 2011 Knight Invitational in Michigan, Saturday morning and Steinbrunner finished third overall in 17:50.
She broke her own school record of 17:51 by one second.
The No. 35 Polar Bears finished second overall with 66 points, behind host and No. 15 ranked Calvin with its 27 points.
Northern has a weekend off before competing at the All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville, Sept. 30. The race is set for a 2:45 p.m. start.
