Women's Tennis opens spring schedule with victories over Greenville (Ill.), Asbury (Ky.)

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team opened up the spring portion of its schedule with a 7-0 victory over Greenville (Ill.) and a 4-3 win over Asbury (Ky.) indoors on Saturday at the Transylvania (ky.) Classic.

- The Polar Bears swept all nine courts in the 7-0 win over Greenville on Saturday morning.

- Bell and Robinson are a team-best 7-3 in doubles play.

- Senior Katie O'Connell (Novi, Mich./Saint Catherine) leads the team with a career record of 82-29 and needs just 18 more wins to join ONU's 100-Win Club.
- Third-year head coach Sean Swisher is 36-11 at the helm of the ONU women's tennis team, a winning percentage of .766.
