Women's Swimming and Diving remains fourth after Day 2 of 2025 OAC Championships

AKRON — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team remains in fourth place after day two of the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships meet on Thursday.
The Basics
- Records: Ohio Northern (4-4 overall).
- Venue: Ocasek Natatorium - Akron, Ohio.
- Ohio Northern is in in fourth place out of 6 teams with 137 points after 6 of 20 events over a four-day span.
- John Carroll leads the team standings with 321 points, Baldwinn Wallace is second with 206.5 points, Mount Union is third with 177 points, Heidelberg is fifth with 81.5 points and Wilmington is sixth with 34 points.
Meet Highlights
- Junior Hannah Eversole (Cincinnati/Mt. Notre Dame) was seventh in the 200-yard I.M. in 2:52.
- The 200 free relay team of senior Annie Richters (Troy/Miami East), freshman Abby Leatherman (Findlay/Van Buren), senior Sydney Selinsky and senior Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross) were fourth in 1:41.94.
- The 400 medley relay team of freshman Kate Kalmanowicz (New Freedom, Pa./Susquehannock), Leatherman, Brown and Richters were third in 4:05.58.

- The meet consists of 20 events, including 13 individual races, five relays and two diving events.
- The top three individuals and top two relays in each event earn All-Conference honors.
- Ohio Northern has won 7 OAC Championships titles since 2007.
- Austin Veltman is 30-32 in his seven season as head coach of the Polar Bears.
