Women's Swimming and diving drops tri-meet at No. 1 Kenyon with No. 20 Case

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team fell twice in a tri-meet at No. 1-ranked Kenyon with No. 20 Case Western Reserve on Saturday afternoon at the Steen Aquatic Center.
The Polar Bears (5-4 overall) fell to Kenyon 248-48 and to Case 238-58. KC also beat CWRU 216-84.
Senior Megan Lubinski (Loveland/Brighton) led ONU with a third place finish in the 50 free in :25.09.
Freshman Mara Brown (Fremont/Ross) was fourth in the 200 fly in 2:19.93 and was sixth in the 100 fly in 1:02.03.
Junior Shelby Starkey (Bellefontaine) placed fifth in the 200 back in 2:17.26.
In the 100 free, sophomore Katie Bend (Carmel, Ind.) and senior Karli Katterle (Rocky River) finished sixth and seventh in 11:41.27 and 11:57.15, respectively.
Freshman Hannah Eversole (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) was eighth in the 400 I.M. in 5:04.96 and was eighth in the 500 free in 5:41.65.
Freshman Hayley Solomon (Cincinnati/Sycamore) was eighth in the 1-meter diving with 148.20 points for six dives.
The Polar Bears will wrap up their regular season schedule on Saturday with an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet at Baldwin Wallace.
