Cabana headlines list of five Women's Soccer players named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

ADA — Five Ohio Northern student-athletes were named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All-Region VII Team.
Ohio Northern fifth-year senior Kylie Cabana (Dexter, Mich.) headlined this list with First Team All-Region honors, while fifth-year senior Jill Roberts (Bellbrook/Carroll) and seniors Alyssa Beckett (Monroe) and Emma Bowman (Novi, Mich./Northville) were named Second Team All-Region and senior Elizabeth Pierce (Liberty Township/Mount Notre Dame) earned Fourth Team All-Region honors.
This marks Cabana's first All-Region accolade. Cabana was named OAC Defender of the Year this season as well as being selected for the OAC All-Tournament Team.
Cabana started all 22 games this season and recorded four assists and one goal, which was a game-winner. In her career, she has played 73 matches, including 69 starts, with 38 points on 11 goals and 16 assists.
Roberts is now a two-time Second Team All-Region selection. She also earned First Team All-OAC honors this season.
Roberts started in all 22 games for the Polar Bears and led the team in points (26) and assists (8) while being second on the team with nine goals, including five game-winners.
Roberts has played in 91 career games, which ranks first all-time at ONU. In her career, she has 23 goals and 16 assists for 62 points.
Beckett is earning her third All-Region accolade after being named OAC Midfielder of the Year and earning OAC All-Tournament Team honors.
Beckett started in all 22 games and led the team with 11 goals to go with three assists and 25 points on the season. In 79 career games, including 74 starts, she has 27 goals and eight assists for 62 points.
Bowman is a first-time All-Region honoree. She was also named First Team All-OAC and was a OAC All-Tournament Team selection this season.
Bowman also started all 22 games this season and was second on the team with seven assists while tallying two goals for 11 points.
In her career, Bowman has 35 points on five goals and 25 assists. Her assist total ranks her tied for fifth all-time at ONU.
Pierce is also a first-time All-Region honoree. She was also a first-time All-OAC selection after being named to First Team this season.
Pierce ended the season with eight goals and one assist for 17 points. In her career, Pierce has 40 points on 16 goals and eight assists.
The Polar Bears closed the 2024 season with a 15-6-1 overall record and won the OAC Regular Season Title with an 8-1-0 record.
They also won their sixth OAC Tournament Title and advanced to the Second Round in their seventh NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
Second-year head coach Ben Tierney, the 2024 OAC Coach of the Year, is now 25-15-2 in two seasons at ONU.
