Women's Soccer wins OAC Regular Season title with 2-0 victory at John Carroll in battle of league leaders

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team won the OAC Regular Season title with a 2-0 victory at John Carroll on Saturday afternoon to wrap up the regular season.

The Basics

• Records: Ohio Northern (12-5-1 overall, 8-1-0 OAC), John Carroll (11-6-1 overall, 7-1-1 OAC).
• Venue: Don Shula Stadium — University Heights, Ohio.

The Match

• The match remained scoreless for the first 53:35 until fifth-year senior Kylie Cabana (Dexter, Mich.) scored unassisted to go up 1-0.
• Fifth-year senior Jill Roberts (Bellbrook/Carroll) scored off an assist from senior Emma Bowman (Novi, Mich./Northville) to put the game away for the Polar Bears.
• ONU out-shot JCU 20-3 and had a 14-2 advantage in corner kicks.
