Junior Kristy Catrine named OAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season

ADA — Junior Kristy Catrine (Springboro) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of April 13.
This marks the third time this season that Catrine has received the honor, as she won the award on March 16 and 23.
Catrine had 10-save shutout as ONU tied at Otterbein 0-0 in a battle of league unbeatens on Thursday. On Sunday, she had one save as Northern clinched the OAC Regular Season title with a 3-0 win at Mount Union.
Catrine has not allowed a goal in her career and extended her school record scoreless streak to 813 minutes this season and 816 minutes in her career.
The Polar Bears will return to action Thursday with a 7 pm contest at home a semifinal match of the OAC Tournament at Kerscher Stadium.
