Women's Soccer receives 45 votes in seventh weekly D3soccer.com poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team received 45 votes in the seventh weekly D3soccer.com poll released on Tuesday.

The Polar Bears (11-2-0 overall, 5-0-0 Ohio Athletic Conference) received the 27th most points in the poll, which is voted on by a panel of coaches, sports information directors and the D3soccer.com staff.

Washington (Mo.) is ranked No. 1 with 1000 points and all 16 first place votes, Messiah (Pa.) is second with 958 points and Williams (Mass.) is third with 880 points.

ONU was ranked No. 8 nationally in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll.

Ohio Northern has won 11 consecutive matches and will return to action Wednesday with a 7 pm contest at Heidelberg.
