Three named Academic All-Ohio in Women's Soccer

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's soccer team had three members selected as Academic All-Ohio in voting done by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA).
Senior Emily Brodict and junior Shelby Stephens earned First Team honors, while junior Missy Ward claimed Third Team honors.
Brodict earns her third straight Academic All-Ohio honor.
The pharmacy major concludes her career with 62 matches played and ranked fifth all-time in ONU school history in saves (233) and shutouts (19).
Stephens, a business major, earns her second Academic All-Ohio honor.
The junior appeared in 21 matches last season, leading the team in goals (10), assists (11) and total points (31).
Ward has appeared in 40 career matches, scoring five goals and recording two assists as a defender for the Polar Bears.
The pharmacy major earns her second Academic All-Ohio honor.
Under head coach Mark Batman, Ohio Northern posted a 12-7-2 record on the season and finished second with a 7-2-0 mark in the OAC.
