The Polar Bears are 10-8-2 on the season, while the Yellow Jackets end their season at 14-5-1.
ONU will now travel to face off against John Carroll in the OAC Tournament Semifinals on Thursday evening at 7 pm.
The teams played to a 1-1 tie after two overtimes.

Senior Abbie Schauble buried the game-winning PK to allow ONU to advance.
"I am very proud of our girls today," said head coach Mark Batman. "Kim is our penalty kicks goalie and she stepped right in and handled the situation great."
Northern got on the board in the 10th minute, when junior Kristina Klusek got taken down in the box to earn a penalty kick.
Klusek stepped up and found the back of the net for her seventh goal of the season, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Polar Bears.
The Yellow Jackets were able to tie the game just before halftime.
ONU tried to clear a loose ball in the box, but BW's Sami Riveron was able to control it and fired a shot that crossed into the net just before the first half horn sounded, tying the match at 1-1.
Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Brodict (9-7-2) made eight saves, while Emily Tallmadge (12-5-1) made six saves for the Yellow Jackets.
Baldwin Wallace outshot Northern 16-14 and also held a 9-7 advantage in shots on goal.
The Polar Bears had four corner kicks, compared to two for BW.
"Baldwin Wallace is a tough team," added Batman. "It shows how tough this league is. Beating a team twice in a season is no easy task. This will serve as a huge moral boost for us."
