This Weekend's Tournament: The No. 13-ranked Polar Bears will take their undefeated 13-0 record to Williamsport, Pa., this Friday and Saturday for the Budd Whitehill National Duals Tournament hosted by Lycoming (Pa.) ... ONU will compete in Pool C on Friday with duals against Penn College at 10:30 am, host Lycoming at 1:30 pm and Springfield (Mass.) at 4:30 pm ... On Saturday, the teams will divide into four groups based on their pool finish and will wrestle twice within each group to determine places 1-16 ... The Polar Bears are ranked No. 13 in the latest NWCA Dual Meet Poll and are No. 17 in the NWCA Tournament poll ... Two Ohio Northern wrestlers are currently ranked by the NWCA ... Sophomore All-American Jacob Reed (141 pounds) is #2 and senior Chase Sumner (149 pounds) is #10 ... In the latest D3wrestle.com poll, Reed is #2 and Sumner is #9, while senior Jordan Hardrick (165) and sophomore Dylan Le (133) are listed in the "Honorable Mention" category as being ranked in the 19-26 group ... The Polar Bears are coming off a pair of impressive shutouts over Case Western Reserve and Manchester (Ind.) at the ONU Sports Center last Saturday afternoon ... Sophomore Gavin Layman had two pins on the day at 184 to lead the Polar Bears ... Senior Ben DePrest (197) and sophomore Adam Myers (174) each had a major decision and a pin as well ... Thus far this season, Reed leads the team with a 26-0 record ... Sumner and Hardrick are second with 24 wins each ... Sumner also has a team-high 12 pins, while Hardrick, Reed and Le each have a team-best 6 major decisions ... ONU has wrestlers with winning records in all 10 weight classes ... Hardrick is also just one victory away from becoming the 16th member of ONU's 100-Win Club ... A fifth-year senior, Hardrick is 99-40 in his career, ranking him 16th all-time in ONU history ... Penn College is 2-2 on the season ... The Lions are led by Isaac Cory, who is ranked No. 10 at 184 pounds ... Lycoming is 4-3 in dual meets ... Gable Crebs is ranked ninth at 197 and John Fulmer is ranked third at 285 to lead the Warriors ... Springfield is 3-0 on the year ... Joey Manginelli is ranked No. 12 at 125, Gianni Manginelli is ranked No. 9 at 133 and Jake Deguire is ranked No. 12 at 157 to lead the Pride.

Head Coach Ron Beaschler: Beaschler is in his 35th season at the helm of the Ohio Northern wrestling program and currently stands as the longest-tenured head wrestling coach at the institution ... He sports a 367-247-4 career coaching record in dual action, a winning percentage of .597, making him the all-time winningest coach in program history ... Beaschler was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 and has been named OAC Coach of the Year three times in 1993, 2012, and 2013.
