Wrestling is ranked No. 19 in second weekly NWCA poll

ADA – The Ohio Northern wrestling team is ranked No. 19 in the second 2014-15 National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll.

The Polar Bears (4-0 overall) were not ranked in the first poll of the season.

Wisconsin-Whitewater is ranked No. 1, Messiah (Pa.) is No. 2 and Wabash (Ind.) is No. 3.

Individually, ONU senior All-American Cody Lovejoy is ranked fourth in the heavyweight weight class.

In the D3Wrestle.com individual poll, five ONU wrestlers were nationally ranked in their reespectve weight classes.

Sophomore Gennar Feucht is 22nd at 157 pounds, junior Colt Lovejoy is 18th at 165 pounds, junior Tyler Gargano is 16th at 174 pounds, freshman Aaron Adkins is 23rd at 184 pounds, sophomore Dillon Brancheau is 23rd at 197 pounds and Cody Lovejoy is fifth at 285 pounds.

Ohio Northern will host the 34th annual ONU Invitational on Saturday at 9 am at the ONU Sports Center.
