Women's Lacrosse to open 2024 season Feb. 21 at Adrian (Mich.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team will open its 2024 season under first-year head coach Margo Vandeveld on Feb. 21 at Adrian (Mich.)

The Polar Bears play their first eight contests on the road, traveling to Kalamazoo (Mich.) on Feb. 24, Trine (Ind.) on Feb. 28, Westminster (Pa.) on March 1, Ohio Wesleyan on March 3 and Mount Saint Joseph on March 6.

ONU will wrap up their road trip with spring break for games against the University of New England (Mass.) and Farmingdale State (N.Y.) March 11 and 14 in Phoenix, Ariz.

The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule gets underway when the Polar Bears host John Carroll on March 23.

After a road game at Capital on March 29, Northern will play four of its next five games at home.

The Polar Bears will wrap up non-conference play with an April 1 game against Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Ohio Northern will host Otterbein, Marietta and Baldwin Wallace and travel to Muskingum, and Mount Union to complete OAC regular season play.

The six-team OAC Tournament starts with the quarterfinals on April 27.

The Polar Bears went 8-9 overall and were 2-5 in the OAC in 2023.
