Miller, Monastra named All-OAC in Women’s Lacrosse for 2023

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Meredith Miller (Noblesville, Ind.) and junior Gabby Monastra (Wooster) were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's lacrosse for 2023 in voting conducted by the league's head coaches.
Miller, a midfielder, was named to the All-OAC Second Team, and Monastra was an All-Conference Honorable Mention selection on defense.
This marks the third All-Conference accolade for Miller, who was an Honorable Mention selection as a sophomore and earned Second Team honors as a junior.
A four-year starter, Miller started all 17 games this season and tallied 10 hat tricks en route to finishing with a team-high 48 goals and 26 caused turnovers. She added three assists and ranked second on the team in points (51), ground balls (34) and draw controls (40).
Miller ranks fourth in the OAC in goals this season and is ONU's all-time career leader in goals (115) and points (122). She ranks second all-time in hat tricks (18), third in caused turnovers (80) and fourth in ground balls (117) and draw controls (102).
This marks the first All-OAC accolade for Monastra, who started all 17 games this season and tallied 24 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers.
Monastra has played in 44 career games with 22 starts at ONU and has 11 points on nine goals and two assists to go with 39 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and eight draw controls.
The Polar Bears finished the 2023 season 8-9 overall and were sixth in the OAC with a 2-5 league mark under eighth-year head coach Beth Bonnell.
ONU also made its third consecutive OAC Tournament appearance in 2023.
