Naugle, Miller, Kilgore named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Women's Lacrosse for 2022

ADA — Senior Kate Naugle (Moon Township, Pa./Moon Area), junior Meredith Miller (Noblesville, Ind.) and sophomore Sydney Kilgore (Pleasant Plain/Little Miami) were all named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's lacrosse for 2022 in voting conducted by the league's nine head coaches.
Naugle and Miller received Second Team All-OAC honors and Kilgore earned Honorable Mention All-Conference notice.
Naugle is a four-year starter on defense, having 51 starts in 52 career games.
She ranks fifth all-time in ONU history with 105 career ground balls and is tenth with 41 career caused turnovers. She also has scored seven goals, dished out three assists and registered 10 points in her career.
Naugle is also a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree.
This season, she had one goal, one assist, 38 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers.
Miller is making her second appearance on the All-Conference squad after earning Honorable Mention All-OAC kudos as a sophomore in 2021.
A three-year starter in the midfield, she scored a team-best 36 goals and had 39 points this spring. She was also sixth in the OAC with a team-high 26 caused turnovers and led the squad with 45 ground balls.
Miller has started 38 games in her career and ranks seventh all-time in ONU history with 67 career goals and 71 career points. She is also seventh with 62 draw controls, eighth with 83 ground balls and fourth with 54 caused turnovers in 39 career games.
She is an Academic All-OAC honoree.
Kilgore is also a two-time All-Conference award winner on attack, earning Second Team All-OAC honors as a freshman in 2021.
Despite having both of her seasons cut short due to injury, she ranks fourth all-time in ONU history with 81 career goals, is second with 27 career assists and is third with 108 career points in just 25 games.
She also is fifth with 87 draw controls.
The Polar Bears finished the 2022 season 7-10 overall and were sixth in the OAC with a 3-5 league mark under seventh-year head coach Beth Hemminger.
ONU also made its second consecutive OAC Tournament appearance in 2022.
