Women's Lacrosse to open 2022 season Feb. 19 at Kalamazoo (Mich.)

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team will open its 2022 schedule under seventh-year head coach Beth Hemminger on Feb. 16 with a road contest at Kalamazoo (Mich.)

The Polar Bears will also play at Adrian (Mich.) Feb. 23 and at Franciscan Feb. 26 before opening the home portion of its schedule March 2 against Wittenberg at Dial-Roberson Stadium.

ONU will travel to Trine (Ind.) on March 5 before heading to Georgetown, Tex., for spring break for games at Southwestern (Tex.) and against Northwestern (Minn.) March 8 and 10.

Northern will wrap up its non-conference schedule by hosting Earlham (Ind.) on March 16.

A road game at Mount Union on March 26 starts the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of the schedule.

Ohio Northern will host Muskingum, Otterbein, John Carroll and Baldwin Wallace and will travel to Marietta, Heidelberg and Capital to wrap up OAC regular season play.

The six-team OAC Tournament starts with the quarterfinals on April 30.

The Polar Bears went 7-10 overall and were 7-9 in the Conference in 2021.
