McArn, Wernoch, Kilgore, Miller named All-OAC in Women's Lacrosse in 2021

ADA — Four Ohio Northern student/athletes were named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in women's lacrosse for 2021 in voting conducted by the league's nine head coaches.
Senior Annie McArn (Bay Village/Western Reserve Academy), sophomore Lacey Wernoch (Brick, N.J./Brick Township) and freshman Sydney Kilgore (Pleasant Plain/Little Miami) were all named to the Second Team, while sophomore Meredith Miller (Noblesville, Ind.) received Honorable Mention honors.
McArn, a midfielder, is ONU's all-time career leader in draw controls with 190 and is 3rd in the OAC with 76 this season. She is third all-time in ONU history with 86 goals, 23 assists and is second with 109 points in 55 career games.
She is second on the team with 42 goals, 18 assists and 60 points this season.
McArn is also a three-time Academic All-Conference honoree.
Wernoch, a defender, was second on the team with 21 caused turnovers and was fifth with 26 ground balls.
She also scored two goals in her second season as a starter.
Kilgore broke the school's single-season scoring records with 69 points and 20 assists this season as an attacker.
She also had 49 goals, which is the second-highest total in school history.
Miller is a midfielder and finished the season third on the team with 31 goals and 32 points.
She had four hat tricks this season, including three in the final four games of the year.
The Polar Bears were 7-10 overall and finished tied for fifth in the league with a 7-9 OAC record under sixth-year head coach Beth Hemminger. Northern also earned their first-ever OAC Tournament bid.
