Saturday's Game: The Polar Bears will continue their 2021 season on Saturday with a 1 pm contest against Mount Union at Mount Union Stadium ... A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend the games due based on the OAC's COVID-19 policy ... Each player will receive two admissions each game ... No tickets will be available to the general public will not be admitted ... ONU is coming off a 14-11 loss at home against Otterbein on Wednesday ... Freshman Sydney Kilgore is third in the OAC and is fourth nationally with 37 goals this season ... She also is second in the league with 19 assists and with 56 points ... Senior Annie McArn is ONU's all-time career leader in draw controls with 163 and is third in the OAC with 48 this season ... She is 4th all-time at ONU with 67 goals and 83 points and is fifth with 16 assists ... She is ninth in the OAC with 11 assists and is 11th in the league with 34 points this season ... Sophomore Meredith Miller is third on the team with 14 goals and freshman Noel Orioli is fourth with 12 goals ... Freshman Molly Dixson is eighth in the OAC with 53 saves in goal ... Both Ohio Northern (118-of 236) and its opponents (144-of-288) have an even .500 shooting percentage this season ... ONU is second in the league with 199 ground balls ... This year's OAC Tournament has been expanded to a 6-team affair with the first round on April 27 ... The semifinals will be on April 29 with the finals on May 1 ... Katie Clark won OAC athlete of the Week on March 29 with four goals and three assists against Capital on March 27th... Senior Sydney Bumbarger scored six goals, and junior Mackenzie Lewis (and freshman Katie Clark scored five goals each and Clark added four assists... Senior Molly McGinnis had 7 saves in goal to get the win and improve to 8-1 with 82 saves and a 11.34 GAA, and own the second best save percentage in the OAC at 49.4 percent this season ... Bumbarger leads the team and is fourth in the OAC with 35 goals this season and is fifth in the OAC with 44 points ... Sophomore Julia Bates is third in the OAC with 15 assists ... Lewis is second on the team with 27 goals and 34 points.
