This Weekend's Tournament: The Ohio Northern women's golf team will wrap its 2021 regular season at the 54-hole OAC Championships Friday-Sunday at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio ... The tournament will start with 18 holes on Friday with flighted tee times from 11:30 am-1:14 pm ... ONU's tee times will run every eight minutes from 11:30 am-12:02 pm Friday ... The players will play 18 more holes on Saturday with flighted tee times on Saturday from 10-11:40 am, based on team scores after Friday ... The final 18 holes on Sunday will begin at 10:30 am and will be based on the 36-hole team scores after Saturday's play ... The top 14 finishers and ties in the tournament will earn All-Conference honors ... A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend the games based on the OAC's COVID-19 policy ... Each player will receive two admissions each tournament ... No tickets will be available to the general public ... Ohio Northern won the Otterbein Cardinal Super Classic in record-setting fashion April 17-18 at Northstar Golf Course ... The Polar Bears set 18- and 36-hole school records with a 318-321—639 to defeat Otterbein by 35 strokes in the five team tournament ... The first round 318 on Saturday broke the previous record of 321 and the 36-hole 639 broke the previous mark of 648. Both marks were set at the Wittenberg Fall Invitational on Oct. 9-10, 2010 ... Freshman Grace Honigford won Medalist honors for the third consecutive tournament and the fourth time this season, posting a 9-over par 78-75—153. Her 153 is the third-lowest 36-hole total in ONU history ... Seniors Lydia Cranmer and Annika Neumann finished right behind in second and third with 78-78—156 and a 78-79—157, respectively ... Those scores are tied the fourth and eighth all-time at ONU as well ... Honigford leads the team through 11.5 rounds with a 79.4 scoring average this season ... Neumann is second at 81.4 and Cranmer is third at 84.6.
