Women's Bowling finishes 14th of 16 at Ohio Bowling Conference meet III

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team finished 14th of 16 teams on Saturday at the Ohio Bowling Conference III tournament.

The Basics

• Ohio Northern finished 14th of 16 teams with 4,168 pins.
• Venue: Palace Lanes - Columbus, Ohio.

ONU Individuals

• Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) led the Polar Bears with a 4-game series of 696, an average of 174.0 per game. She would finish in 20th place.
• Sophomore Lexa Steinke (Wapakoneta/New Bremen) finished her 4-game series with a 618, an average of 154.5 and good for a 34th place finish.
• Freshman Olivia Nastasi (Howard/East Knox) had a 3-game series of 419, an average of 139.7. 

Notables

• The team rolled 4 regular games on Saturday and were 14th with a 2,951-pin effort.
• The Polar Bears averaged 147.6 pins per game.
• Northern then rolled a 1,217 (148.9 ave) for 8 baker games.
• Wright State won the team title with 5931 pins, Northwestern Ohio was second with 5213 pins and Rio Grande was third with 5191 pins.
• This was the sixth of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
• Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
