COLUMBUS — The Ohio Northern women's bowling team finished ninth of 15 teams at the Ohio Bowling Conference II tournament on Saturday.
The Basics
- Ohio Northern finished 11th of 15 teams with 4,834 pins.
- Venue: Palace Lanes - Columbus, Ohio.
- Northern was ninth of 16 teams after the four individual games, after knocking down 3,477 pins for an average of 173.9 per game.
- ONU then knocked down 3,274 pins in 8 baker games, an average of 204.6 per game.

- Freshman Kayleigh Zedlitz (Belle Center/Indian Lake) broke ONU school records with game-high 276 a 4-game series of 842 to lead the Polar Bears.
- Junior Cindy Durliat (Findlay/Liberty Benton) rolled a 697.
- Freshman Olivia Nastasi (Howard/East Knox) had a 683.
Notables
- Zedlitz was named to the All-Tournament team by finishing third among all individuals.
- Wright State won the team title with 5,417 pins.
- St. Vincent (Pa.) was second with 5285, Robert Morris was third with 5264 and Muskingum was fourth with 5248.
- This was the fourth of 10 events for Ohio Northern in its second season.
- Second-year head coach Jeff Robinson leads the Polar Bears.
