This Weekend's Series: The Polar Bears will begin the Ohio Athletic Conference portion of their 2021 season underway with a four-game series with Capital this weekend ... ONU and CU will play twice in Bexley on Saturday and twice in Ada on Sunday ... A limited number of spectators will be allowed to attend the games due based on the OAC's COVID-19 policy ... Each player will receive two admissions each game ... No tickets will be available to the general public will not be admitted ... The OAC eliminated non-conference games for 2021 and adopted a 36-game, double round-robin league schedule ... The teams will play home-and-home series of DHs each Saturday and Sunday from March 13-May 9 with the OAC Tournament May 14-15 ... Ohio Northern is coming off a three-game split with Heidelberg last weekend in games that will not count in the OAC standings ... Heidelberg won the opener 10-9 and the two teams tied game two 6-6 due to darkness last Saturday at Tiffin ... ONU then scored in the bottom of the sixth inning to in 1-0 on Monday in Ada ... Thru 3 games this season, sophomore Sydney Motylinski leads the team with a .667 batting average and 4 RBI ... Senior Gabby Stewart is second with a .556 average ...
