Softball to open 2014 season with annual spring break trip to Florida

ADA — The Ohio Northern softball team will open its 2014 schedule Feb. 28 on its annual spring break trip to Florida under first-year head coach Ali Hess.

The Polar Bears will open the home portion of their schedule March 18 against Trine (Ind.) at the ONU Softball Field.

ONU will also host Alma (Mich.), Anderson (Ind.) and Wittenberg in non-conference action.

The Ohio Athletic Conference portion of their schedule will get underway March 22 with a double header at Heidelberg.

The OAC Tournament is slated for May 2-3 at the home of the regular season champion.
