Saturday's Meet: The Ohio Northern men's indoor track and field team continues its 2022 season on Saturday by hosting the annual Joe Banks Invitational at the ONU Sports Center … Earlham (Ind.), Mount Saint Joseph, Otterbein and Rochester (Mich.) are expected to join ONU at the meet … Fans in attendance are required to adhere to ONU's campus-wide COVID-19 policy … Field events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., and the running events are set to start at noon … The Polar Bears opened their 2022 indoor season last Friday by winning the third annual Larry Cole Invitational at the ONU Sports Center Fieldhouse ... Northern (4-0) finished with 179 points ... Ohio Wesleyan and Manchester (Ind.) tied for second with 108 points each, Adrian (Mich.) was fourth with 99 and Anderson (Ind.) was fifth with 16 ... Senior Travis Sutter and ONU's 4x400 relay team each won events in meet-record efforts ... Sutter won the 3,000-meter run in a meet record 8:51.83, and freshman Jacob Kreger, sophomore David Gross, junior Branden Kadlubowski and junior Hunter Kesler won in a record 3:30.44 ... Sophomore Trey Myers won the 500 run in 1:08.02. Sophomore Tyler St. Onge was third in the event in 1:10.66.
