Men's Swimming and Diving concludes undefeated home schedule with 165.5-60.5 victory over Ohio Wesleyan

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving team wrapped the home portion of its schedule on Friday evening with a 165.5-60.5 victory over Ohio Wesleyan at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-1 overall, while the Battling Bishops fall to 3-3.
The Polar Bears finished the 2021-22 season undefeated at home with a 3-0 record. Earlier this season, ONU topped No. 17-ranked John Carroll 157-139 and Mount Union 186-110.
Senior Jeremy Adams (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ann Arbor Pioneer) won the 50 free in :22.06.
Senior Jackson Stanley (Beavercreek) won the 200 I.M. in 2:06.34 and the 500 free in 5:22.45.
Freshman Nathan Gibbs (Parker, Colo./Legend) won the 1,000 free in 10:43.59.
Freshman Brady Horgan (New Richmond/McNicholas) won the 200 free in 1:49.14 and the 100 free in :49.15.
Freshman Vincent Morando (Mansfield/Lexington) won the 100 fly in :57.97.
Freshman Holden Cubberley (Celina) won the 1-meter diving with 299.85 points and the 3-meter diving with 261.15 points for six dives.
Sophomore Charlie Spyker (Harrod/Shawnee), Adams, Stanley and Horgan opened the meet by winning the 200 medley relay in 1:37.82.
Freshman Ben Starling (Mansfield/Homeschool), Adams, freshman Brandon Parkins (DuPont, Wash./Steilscoom) and senior Mike Lewandowski (Shelby Township, Mich/Eisenhower) won the 200 free relay in 1:29.47.
Ohio Northern won 11 of the 13 events on the evening.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday with a tri-meet at No. 4 Kenyon with No. 17 Case Western Reserve.
