This Weekend's Meets: Ohio Northern will compete outside of the OAC with a pair of meets this weekend .. On Friday night, ONU will host Ohio Wesleyan in a 6 pm dual ... On Saturday, the Polar Bears will head to Gambier for a tri-match at #4-ranked Kenyon with #17 Case Western Reserve ... ONU is coming off a 186-110 victory over Mount Union on Senior Day last Saturday at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium ... The Polar Bears (3-1 overall) improve to 3-0 in OAC regular season dual meets this season and is guaranteed to finish on top of the league standings for the 13th time in school history and the second time in the past five seasons ... Senior Jeremy Adams and junior Calob Cope each won three individual events to lead ONU ... Adams won the 200 free in 1:46.53 ... Ten minutes later, Adams won the 100 breast in 1:00.56 ... He also took the 100 free in :48.33 and was on the winning 400 free relay team ... Cope swept the distance events, winning the 1,000-yard free in 10:04.43 and the 500 in 4:52.89. He also won the 400 I.M. in 4:20.06 to complete an impressive day ... Adams has the fastest time in the OAC this year and ranks 18th nationally in the 100 breast with an NCAA "B" Cut :55.60 ... He also was named the OAC Swimmer of the Week for his efforts ... Ohio Wesleyan is 3-2 on the year and is coming off a tri-meet split last Saturday with a win 113-73 win over Malone and a 130-85 loss to Oberlin ... #4 Kenyon is 2-0 in duals with victories over #2 Denison and Cleveland State ... The Lords finished third at the 2019 NCAA III Championships ... Case is 2-2 and is coming off a 186-114 loss to #21 SUNY-Geneseo last Saturday.
