Men picked to finish third, women sixth in 2025 OAC Preseason Lacrosse Coaches Poll

ADA — The Ohio Northern men's lacrosse team has been picked to finish third and the women were picked to finish sixth in the Ohio Athletic Conference in 2025 in preseason polls voted on by league coaches.
In the men's poll, the Polar Bears received 62 points in the poll.
John Carroll was picked first with 77 points and six first place votes, Baldwin Wallace second with 76 points and four first place votes and Capital fourth with 60 points.
The Northern men will open their season on Saturday at St. Vincent (Pa.) under tenth-year head coach Nat St. Laurent.
On the women's side, ONU received 20 points in the poll.
Mount Union was picked first with 47 points and five first place votes, Capital second with 44 points and two first place votes, Baldwin Wallace third with 33 points and John Carroll was fourth with 31 points and the final first place vote.
The Polar Bear women will open their 2025 campaign on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Oberlin under second-year head coach Margo Vandeveld.
