Nate Kaffenbarger is in his first season as an assistant baseball coach at Ohio Northern in 2024-25.

Kaffenbarger comes to ONU after two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Defiance from 2022-23.

He was a five-year member of the Defiance baseball squad as an undergrad, earning All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference in 2021 and 2022.

Kaffenbarger was also named All-Region by D3baseball.com as a senior in 2022.

A native of DeGraff, Ohio, he ended his career at DC as the Yellow Jackets' all-time leader in hits (188) and in doubles (40) after hitting .412 in 36 games in 2022.

He earned a bachleor's degree in education from Defiance in 2022 and a master's degree in education in 2024.
