ADA — Ohio Northern junior Andrew Stechschulte (Findlay) was named 2024 Academic All-District in baseball by College Sports Communicators.
The 2023 Academic All-District Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, each student-athlete must have at least a 3.5 GPA and have played in at least 50 percent of his team's games or pitched at least 10 innings during the season.

Defensively, he posted a .985 fielding percentage and a .447 caught-stealing percentage, throwing out 17 of 38 base-stealers.
He was also named Third Team All-Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association this season.
In three years at ONU, Stechschulte has played in 86 games and has a career .275 average with 84 hits, 56 RBIs, 19 doubles, two triples, six home runs, 51 runs, and 14 stolen bases.
