Sophomore Chase Armstrong named OAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Chase Armstrong (Louisville Ky./Trinity) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of Mar. 25-31.

The recognition comes after having a .500 batting average through four games last week while hitting in 11 RBIs with nine hits. Two of those hits were home runs in the same inning against Marietta on Friday, one solo shot and one grand slam. He also scored 6 runs and had three doubles throughout the week.

This is Armstrong's first time receiving the honor.

The Polar Bears (8-12 overall, 0-4 OAC) return to action on Tuesday at Bluffton (9-12 overall) at 4:15 p.m.
