Junior Luke Klinehoffer named OAC Hitter of the Week

ADA — Junior Luke Klinehoffer (Zanesville/John Glenn) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week of Apr. 30.

The junior earned the honor for the first time in his career and is the first Polar Bear to earn the honor this season.

Luke was outstanding at the plate this week, helping ONU to a 4-1 record.

In 19 at bats, Klinehoffer was efficient with 11 hits, including two home runs, three doubles and five RBI. He hit an impressive .579 at the plate and was a triple shy of a cycle in ONU's game one against Ohio Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.

Northern returns to action on Monday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. as it hosts Wittenberg at Wander Field in non-conference action.
