Baseball moves up to No. 22 in ninth weekly D3baseball.com poll

ADA – The Ohio Northern baseball team moved up one spot to No. 22 nationally in the ninth weekly D3baseball.com poll, released Tuesday.
The Polar Bears (24-7 overall) also received votes in the seventh weekly American Baseball Coaches Association Division III poll.
Northern received 105 votes in the D3baseball.com poll, which was 11 more than last week when ONU was ranked No. 23.
The Polar Bears were ranked No. 23 in the sixth weekly poll and was No. 25 in the seventh weekly poll.
ONU received 39 votes in the ABCA poll, which is four more than last week and is the 33rd most in the poll.
Cortland State is No. 1 in the ABCA poll, followed by Frostburg State (Md.) at No. 2 and Wisconsin-Whitewater at No. 3 in both polls this week.
The Polar Bears are scheduled to return to action Tuesday with a 2 pm contest with Case Western Reserve at the Cleveland Indians' Progressive Field.
