Baseball game at Progressive Field postponed with ONU leading 1-0

CLEVELAND -- The Ohio Northern baseball team's game against Case Western was called in the bottom of the second inning due to weather and field conditions.
The game, originally scheduled for 2 pm was pushed back to a start time of 4 pm.
Rain began falling at 3:45 delaying the start of the game 45 minutes.
With Case Western was batting in the bottom of the second, when heavy rain and sleet began falling, causing unplayable field conditions.
The Polar Bears were leading 1-0, with senior Devin Kisor singling to lead off the game and coming around to score on a wild pitch.
Ohio Northern will return to action again on Saturday, when it travels to play Muskingum in an OAC double header at 1 pm.
