ADA -- Ohio Northern dropped an 11-1 non-conference baseball game to Adrian (Mich.) Monday afternoon at Wander Field.
The Polar Bears fall to 15-17 overall, while the Bulldogs improve to 21-10.
The Bulldogs took advantage of three ONU errors to plate five unearned runs in a 6-run third frame to take a 6-0 lead and went on to the win.
Tyler Deitering scored Northern's run in the home half of the eight inning when he led off with a single and eventually scored after an errant throw on a bunt single by sophomore Derek Lenardos.
The Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday with a non-league game at home versus Wooster at 4 pm.
