Volleyball to open 2025 season Aug. 28-29 at Hope (Mich.) Tournament

ADA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team will open its 2025 season Aug. 29-30 at the Hope (Mich.) Tournament under third-year head coach Sophie Windover.

Northern will then play at the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Invitational Sept. 5-6 before opening its home schedule Sept. 10 against area-rival Bluffton.

ONU will play at the Wittenberg Invitational Sept. 13 before traveling to Earlham (Ind.) for a match Sept. 16.

The 46th-Annual ONU Invitational will be Sept. 19-20 at the ONU Sports Center.

Northern will then host Mount Saint Joseph and Transylvania (Ky.) in a tri-match on Sept. 26.

The Polar Bears open their 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference slate at Marietta on Oct.3.

Ohio Northern will host OAC foes Baldwin Wallace, Muskingum, Otterbein and Mount Union.

Other conference road opponents include Heidelberg, Capital and Wilmington.

ONU will close out the regular season on Nov. 1 at Denison with Kenyon and Nov. 8 at home against Wittenberg.

The OAC Tournament is slated for Nov. 11-15.

The Polar Bears posted a 20-9 record, including a 5-4 mark in the OAC, in 2024.
