Wagner, James, Jennings named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Volleyball for 2024

ADA — Seniors Erin Wagner (Massillon/Perry), Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) and Lauren James (Farmington Hills, Mich./North Farmington) were all named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in volleyball for the 2024 season in voting conducted by the league's 10 head coaches.
Wagner was named First Team All-Conference, while Jennings and James were Second Team All-OAC selections.
Jennings was also named the OAC Witte-Zicha Libero of the Year.
Wagner is now a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, earning 1st Team kudos in 2022, 2023 and 2024 and Honorable Mention honors as a freshman in 2021 as an outside hitter.
She was also named Honorable Mention All-America and First Team All-Great Lakes Region in 2023.
This season, Wagner leads the OAC with 387 kills and a .382 hitting percentage.
She ranks fourth all-time in ONU's top-10 list for hitting percentage, hitting .330 in 99 career matches. She also has 1,186 career kills is 10th all-time in ONU history in that category.
Jennings is now a four-time 2nd Team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, earning the award in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
This is her first OAC Libero of the Year honor.
She is currently ranked fifth in the OAC with 475 digs and is seventh with 39 service aces.
Jennings has 2,074 career digs in 106 career matches and is No. 5 on ONU's all-time top 10 list in that category.
She is also No. 9 all-time at ONU with 163 career aces.
James is making her second career All-Conference accolades after earning Honorable Mention All-OAC as a junior in 2023 from her middle blocker position.
This season, she leads the OAC with 131 total blocks and 42 block solos.
James is 5th all-time in ONU history with 370 total blocks and is tied for 8th with 86 block solos in 99 career matches.
The Polar Bears are 20-8 overall and will be the No. 5 seed in this week's OAC Tournament. Northern will travel to No. 4 seed John Carroll on Tuesday night for the quarterfinals.
