Senior Rachel Jennings named OAC Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Senior Rachel Jennings (Novi, Mich.) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 21-27.

This marks Jennings' eighth career OAC Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after recording a season-high 40 digs in a 5-set victory over Mount Union on Saturday.

In 103 career matches, Jennings has 1,995 digs, which is ranked fifth all-time in ONU history.

Jennings entered the 2024 season ranked eighth nationally in digs among active Division III players.

The Polar Bears (18-6 overall, 4-3 OAC) return to action on Wednesday against Wilmington (14-8 overall, 3-2 OAC) at 7 p.m.
